    United Konso Kindergarten School
Elevate Black Health and founder Stephen Earley Jordan focused on supporting the newly established United Konso Community Kindergarten School, which operates under the direction of Urmale Kusse and with the help of teacher Abera Almale. “Upon my first entrance into the classroom, I was welcomed by the teacher and students,” Jordan recalled. “I immediately noticed that the students lacked desks and used spared seats as desks; many didn’t have pens or paper. It was clear they needed better learning resources, and I knew I had to help.”

In the following days, Jordan and community leader, Belachew facilitated the improvement of the classroom by providing several key resources:
    1. Uniforms for approximately 50 students, handmade by a local tailor
    2. Bench-style desks, crafted by a local company
    3. Murals inside and outside the classroom, painted by both
children and adults from the community
    4. Notebooks and pens for all students
    5. A new classroom floor covering
    6. Miscellaneous teaching supplies and personal items to support the well-being of the teacher
